Residential Complexes for Upperclass Students
The Upperclass and Graduating Senior Residential Experiences, collectively referred to as Upperclass Housing, is located in the Village at 115 and University-Owned Apartments. During the 2007-2008 academic year, Tippit House and Staley House in the Murray Hill Complex also will be housing third-year students and above.
The housing options in the Upperclass Experience support more independent living options. A variety of apartment sizes, private bedrooms, apartment common areas, and kitchens allow residents to personalize their own community.
Upperclass Experience
Taking the personal vision developed in the second year and placing it into action is the goal of the Upperclass Experience. The upperclass complex staff helps create an environment in which residents can focus on that vision, building on experiences they can apply to learning, while preparing for life after graduation.
Graduating Senior Experience
The Graduating Senior Experience is a time of transition. At this point in the process, each student's journey at Case is almost complete. This experience is focused on preparing residents to make that final transition from Case, reflecting on and connecting their undergraduate experiences to their future plans, and celebrating what they have accomplished.
Upperclass Complex Staff
Upperclass Coordinators (UPCs) are live-in professionals with master's degrees in higher education, counseling, or a related field. A UPC possesses a variety of academic and student life experiences and is responsible for supervising the staff and overseeing the entire Upperclass Experience area.
Graduate Resident Mentors (GRMs) are graduate students who also live in the complex, providing support for residents and assisting coordinators with community development, on-call coverage, and building management.
